The Opposite of PTSD and What It Looks Like
You're ready to start with the opposite of PTSD and what it looks like.
Yesterday it thundered and rained much of the day. Each time I found me personally out in the actual rain and listening to the thunder I used to be transported, very viscerally, back to my backpacking trip on N . Manitou Island in August.
One morning with that trip I woke each day and heard some rumbling coming from over the lake. Storms can come from within the water and will often be observed approaching all night before they will "arrive".
I thought I will make a decision to either stay put, get rained on, let my products dry out, after which proceed to finish off and will continue to the place I wanted to be in which night, a wonderful lake in the center of the island (I was camping on the west shore of the island for two times), or skip breakfast, clean up right away, as well as risk getting rained on as i walked, and so i could get to the lake early on to dry up anything required before dusk. I wanted to invest as much moment at the lake as possible. It is one of my nature spots, a truly brilliant location. I decided to get going. I loaded up, strolled across the area through higher underbrush, where there was previously a lakeside village a hundred years prior to, to the entry of the forest.
